How We Work With Foster Carers.

We work in partnership with City Councils and private foster care homes all over the UK to provide training for foster carers and workers within foster homes. The training helps workers and carers to provide vital support for children with textured hair and Black and mixed heritage skin.

 

We have found that foster parents and residential carers from different ethnic backgrounds to their foster children are struggling with maintaining and looking after their children’s hair and skin, due to a lack of knowledge and experience. Through practical training, we aim to build the confidence of the foster parents and residential carers to help them to take care of their children’s hair and skin appropriately.

 

The courses run multiple times a year and we are asking for all councils to make this training mandatory in the coming years. To find out more about these courses or to register your interest and request a call back please contact us.
